Viewing Member Profiles and Your Chapter Directory

How to use the member directory to explore your chapter, what information member profiles show, and how to make the most of your chapter network.

The Member Directory

The Members section, accessible from the left navigation, shows all active members in your chapter. This is your complete chapter directory — a searchable, browsable list of every professional in your giving network.

Each member card in the directory shows their name, business name, designation, city, industry, and their current Give Score tier badge. You can see at a glance who is at what tier, which helps you identify the chapter's most active contributors.

Searching and Filtering Members

Use the search bar at the top of the Members page to find a specific member by name or business name.

The directory is paginated. If your chapter has a large number of members, scroll down or use the pagination controls to browse further.

Members who are inactive (suspended or archived accounts) do not appear in the directory.

What a Member Profile Shows

Click any member card to open their full profile. A member profile shows:

Profile information: Full name, business name, designation, industry, city, and contact phone number (if they have added it).

Give Score stats: Their current credits, tier badge, number of Gives posted, introductions approved, and badges earned. This section tells you at a glance how active they are in the giving ecosystem.

Their Gives: All active Gives posted by this member. You can browse their Gives and request introductions directly from their profile page without going back to the main Gives feed.

Badges: Any achievement badges they have earned, displayed as a row of icons below their score stats.

Using the Directory Strategically

The member directory is more than a phonebook. It is a map of your chapter's collective network. Use it to:

Identify who to connect with: Before your next chapter meeting, browse the directory and identify two or three members whose businesses are adjacent to yours or whose Gives match what you are looking for. Go in with a specific intention.

Find the right person to ask for a Give: If you know someone valuable but are not a member of their network yourself, check whether another chapter member might be. If Priya has a Give for someone in logistics, and you need a logistics contact, Priya's profile tells you immediately.

Recognise top contributors: Members at the Catalyst and Keystone tiers are the chapter's most prolific givers. Pay attention to what they post — their Gives tend to be high-quality, well-described, and reliably approved.

Build your chapter relationships: Before requesting an introduction from a member you do not know, visit their profile. Read their bio, see their Gives, understand what they do. A personalised introduction request from someone who clearly understands the Give is far more likely to get approved than a generic request from someone who appears to have clicked at random.
